Nicholas Zabel is an actor, who appeared in one episode of Coronation Street in March 2001 as Darren Michaels, taking over from Bruno Langley had moved onto the role of Todd Grimshaw.
Outside of Corrie, Zabel stared in one episode of Channel 4 show 'No Angels'.
Currently he is a Media teacher at the all famous Future Skills College. All of his students aspire to have a friendship like his and Alex 'Fishman' Thompson, their banter is off the charts. Quality lad.
Zabel is a controversial character that has been consistently in the public eye since his appearance in the show; he went on to become the first ever contestant on The Million Pound Drop. However, due to his highly publicised relationship with Davina McCall this episode never aired. He is known in Greater Manchester and Lancashire for throwing week long parties in his mansion in the Ramsbottom Area of Greater Manchester often with close associates playboy philanthropist Alex "Fishman" Thompson and well known male gigolo Morgan Brookes.
Since 2017 Zabel has been off the radar and has moved into teaching to recover a successful career.
