Synopsis[]
Curly Watts is being driven round the bend by the noisy Battersby family at Number 5 Coronation Street. Other residents such as Percy Sugden, Ken Barlow and Emily Bishop also hold a meeting about what to do about the endless loud music being played by them plus the shouting that they can hear through the walls. Toyah Battersby and Leanne Battersby also are watching TV rather loud. As he is on nights, Curly is very sleep deprived due to the Battersbys. He has had enough in the end. Curly even resorts to going round there and in a fit of rage he barges his way in and goes upstairs and throws their TV out of the window. He goes back into the street and is approached by Les Battersby who sees the smashed up TV on the pavement. Les headbutts Curly.
